  We have just moved from London and choose this vet as new neighbour recommended them. Took our two dogs to have their annual booster. Young vet took my dogs temperature and said it was high and that she would need to do tests. I had to leave her there all afternoon, got a call to say that she was fine and they couldn't find any cause, they gave me antibiotics all in all costing £255. I took her temperature myself later and it was normal. I have breed dogs for years and taking a dogs temperature would be the first thing I would do if I though my animal was unwell. She was fine in the morning and I would certainly never taken her for her jabs if she seemed ill. I think they are out to get as much money as possible out of you. I must have looked like a stupid Londoner. Not sure if I will be going back.

  Your vets are part of a big national company cvs group plc, who have to pay there share holders and bonus to staff,there operating profit rose 20%in 2015.These vets have to make a lot of profit to pay there share holders so every thing they do is money driven that is why they make decisions on your pet with money in mind.That is why our dog had inappropriate and unnecessary surgery and died of it 9 days latter,as soon as they know you have a good insurance to pay them.The vets they employ should know better but are young and inexperienced, beware you have been told.
